A Park Shore home usually has two exterior problems on opposite walls. The west side facing the Gulf takes salt film and sun, which bakes a grey haze into the stucco; the east and north sides toward Venetian Bay sit shaded and damp and grow the green and black streaking instead. Washing one and not the other is why so many houses here look half-done from the street.
