Salt Cleaning — window cleaning in Naples, FL

Salt Window Cleaning of Marco Island

Window cleaning on Marco Island, every two months.

Salt air films island glass within weeks. A visit every two months clears it before it bonds, so the view never gets the chance to fade.

The bi-monthly plan

Why every two months works on Marco.

Salt air puts a film on island glass within a few weeks, but it takes months to bond. A visit every two months always lands in between, so the film comes off while it still rinses away.

  • Weeks to film, months to bond

The haze on a slider a month after a cleaning is loose salt and minerals. Left for a season, it bonds to the glass and comes off only by hand. Six visits a year never give it that season.

  • It runs while you're up north

The plan keeps visiting while the house sits empty. You don't need to be home, and the pure-water rinse dries spot-free with nothing to wipe, so the glass is clear the day you come back.

  • One crew, on the island's rhythm

Marco's streets sit close together, so the same crew works the island on a set route and holds a schedule you can plan around. They learn your house: which panes take the spray, where the gate code goes.

  • Cheaper than restoring

Glass that has bonded needs hard-water stain removal, a slower hand job priced on site. Keeping the film from ever setting means you never pay to win the view back.

Six visits a year

A year on the plan.

Six visits, two months apart. Your dates are set when you start; this is a common Marco rhythm.

  • Every two months, the film comes off before it has time to set.
  • No calling, no remembering. The next visit is already on the calendar.
  • Come back for the season to glass that's already clear.

What we clean on Marco Island

Every pane, screen and surface, clean again.

The plan keeps the glass clear. Add any of these to a visit, or book them on their own.

A three-story waterfront home with walls of glass above a pool deck

Inside and outside glass

Every pane, inside and out, up to the second story, finished with a pure-water rinse that dries spot-free.

How we do it

Island homes are built around the view, so the walls facing the water are mostly sliders and picture windows. Outside, we clean every pane with a water-fed pole and finish with a pure-water rinse that dries without spots, including the second-story glass a ladder can't safely reach. Inside, each pane is strip-washed and hand-squeegeed with the sills and furniture protected. Our exterior window cleaning and interior window cleaning pages cover what each visit includes.

A screened pool cage over a freeform pool

Screens and lanai cages

Screens hold the salt that rains back onto the glass. We wash them gently and soft wash the cage.

How we do it

A pool cage works like a filter for salt air. The screens catch it, then every rain washes it down onto the deck, the furniture and the sliders behind them. Cleaning the glass and skipping the screens just moves the problem a few days down the calendar. We handle each screen panel by its frame and wash it gently, soft wash the cage, then rinse the deck. See screen cleaning and lanai and pool cage cleaning.

A shingle roof being soft washed with a low-pressure sprayer

Roof washing on Marco Island

A low-pressure soft wash that kills the black algae streaks at the root. Never a pressure washer.

How we do it

The dark streaks on island roofs are algae that thrives in humid salt air, not dirt and not worn-out shingles. They come back unless the algae is killed, and a pressure washer would strip shingle granules or crack tile glaze trying. Our roof washing is a low-pressure soft wash that kills the growth at the root and keeps the roof lightening for weeks after the visit.

A stucco wall cleaned of mildew

House washing and soft washing

Salt spray and mildew lifted off stucco, eaves and soffits at low pressure.

How we do it

Stucco on the water side of the house takes salt spray, and the shaded side grows mildew through the rainy months. Both lift with a cleaning solution at low pressure and a gentle rinse. That's soft washing, and we use it on the walls, eaves, soffits and gutter faces so water is never forced behind the stucco or into the window frames we just cleaned.

A herringbone paver pool deck inside a screened pool cage

Driveways, pavers and pool decks

Slick green paver joints cleaned and resealed, with the right pressure for every surface.

How we do it

Pavers around an island pool stay damp, and the joints fill with green algae that turns the deck slick. We clean each surface with the pressure it can take: a surface cleaner on concrete and pavers, low pressure on travertine. When the joint sand has washed out, paver cleaning and sealing refills and seals it, and pool deck cleaning brings the grip back underfoot.

A home lit with warm white C9 lights along the roofline

Christmas light installation

Custom C9 lights designed, hung, kept lit all season and stored after. Up before you land.

How we do it

We design the lights around your house, hang commercial-grade C9 bulbs on the rooflines and palms, replace any bulb that goes out during the season, then take everything down and store it after the holidays. If you won't be on the island until December, we can have them up before you land. Book a free walkthrough on our Christmas light installation page.

Local knowledge

What we see on Marco Island.

01

Salt on every side after a storm

Most weeks the salt film builds on the glass facing the Gulf or the canal. A tropical storm drives spray across the whole island, so the street side, the garage door and the screens all come away coated. Book a rinse soon after rather than waiting for the next regular visit, before it bakes on.

02

Screens hold the salt

Lanai screens trap salt and pollen, and the next rain carries it straight down the sliders. Clean glass under dirty screens looks streaky within days, so we plan screens and glass on the same visit.

03

The return rush

Searches for window cleaning on Marco peak in November and January, when owners come back for the season. On the plan, your October visit is already on the calendar, so the glass is done before the rush instead of during it.

04

Rentals between guests

Plenty of island homes rent by the week. Send us the lockbox or check-in details once and we work between guests, so the next arrivals walk into clear glass and a rinsed lanai.

Window cleaning on Marco Island: common questions

Why every two months and not once or twice a year?
Salt film shows up on island glass within a few weeks and bonds over a few months. Once or twice a year, the visit arrives after it has bonded, and bonded glass needs hand restoration. Every two months, the film comes off while it still rinses away.
Is every two months enough for a house right on the Gulf?
For most Marco homes, yes. Glass facing the beach takes the most spray, so some Gulf-front owners step up to monthly. You can move between plans anytime.
What happens while we're up north?
The plan keeps running. You don't need to be on the island: we need access to the outside of the house and an outdoor spigot, plus the details for any gate or lockbox, which we keep on file for every visit.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. The plan has no contract, so you can pause, change or cancel anytime, and every visit is backed by our 365-day guarantee.
Can the inside of the windows be on the plan too?
Yes. Interior glass, screens and track detailing can be added to any visit. Inside, each pane is strip-washed and hand-squeegeed, with the sills and anything near the glass protected first.

Keep the salt off the glass all year.

Six visits a year, no contract, and a 365-day guarantee on every one.
