Soft washing in Pine Ridge.

Pine Ridge Estates is inland on big wooded acreage, which changes the exterior problem entirely. There is very little salt out here, but there is dense canopy over most of these lots and irrigation running hard enough to keep several acres green. Between the shade and the spray, the lower few feet of a Pine Ridge wall stay wet nearly all the time, and that band is where the growth starts before it climbs.

The estate elevations here are long — a lot of continuous stucco — which is exactly the situation where a pressure washer leaves you worse off, because the streaking and wand marks show across a wide flat wall from a hundred feet away. Our soft washing puts solution on the whole elevation, kills the growth at the root, and rinses at low pressure so the wall comes back uniform rather than striped.

The same overspray also leaves mineral staining low on the wall, and the mineral is a separate matter from the mold — worth knowing, because it is the same calcium that our hard-water stain removal lifts off the glass above it. More on the area in Pine Ridge.
