Lanai cleaning in Old Naples.

The lanais in Old Naples are mostly tucked into courtyards behind the house, walled and shaded by the same canopy that shades the street. That makes them wonderful to sit in and terrible at drying out. Pollen, leaf litter, and the mold that follows collect on the screen panels and in the frame channels, and because the whole room is enclosed, none of it blows away the way it would on an open patio.

Our lanai cleaning takes the room as one job: the screen panels soft washed in place at low pressure, the framing and support posts cleaned including the top edges where debris sits, the floor washed to the surface, and the kickplates, tracks, and corners detailed by hand. Corners are where the growth actually starts, and they are what a hose-and-go never reaches.

On the older courtyards the framing is often original and the surrounding planting is mature and close, so pressure is kept where the materials can take it and the beds are pre-wet and rinsed.
