Screen cleaning in Port Royal.

A big house has a lot of screens, and over a summer with the windows shut they load up with salt, pollen and dust. Nobody notices until the doors open in the fall and the view through the mesh is gray.

We pull each window and slider screen, keep track of where it goes, wash the mesh on both sides, rinse with pure water and set it back square. We do it on the same visit as the glass, timed before the owners return, so dirty screens don't drip onto clean windows.
